Cells containing people like her should have a little cabinet in them containing a cyanide pill.
They are free to take this option at any time thus: 1- squirming out of their punishment / 2 - relieving the taxpayer of a lifetime financial burden (the money then being used to house illegal immigrants).

Thought it was more the sort of thing that's commonplace these days.
Her feels were upset because someone suggested she might be a serial killer, so they spent more time investigating the bullying complaint by Letby than they did investigating the suggestion that she might be murdering babies.
Feels are much more important in the modern world

It wasnt a cover up. It was just badly managed. Although I don't like the media's now apparent angle to persecute the senior staff that managed it. I do feel for them. Must've been very difficult situation. I mean, people die in hospitals all the time. Yes, as time moved on the coincidences of her being present at the time of deaths was over-whelming. But this was always something that was going to take time to uncover because you cannot just start accusing nurses of murder when a patient dies.
There was obviously mis-management and a lack of decisive action at crucial moments. But for fuck sake, who on earth would've expected that they had a serial baby killer in their midst? Its like a horror story. Senior management must protect staff as well as patients and I am sure they did what they did with good intentions. Even though, as it turned out, to be mis-guided and possibly incompetent.
But I see no point in the media now driving these people into the ground under such gruesome and almost unprecedented circumstances.
Just my opinion.

I disagree. They chose the VERY easy option in this day and age. They ignored 3 sensible people and sided with the one that cried so not to hurt her feelings.
